Luxe Outdoor develops its already popular Minipeak XL, this time with a snow skirt. Otherwise, the details are the same as on the Minipeak XL.

The Minipeak XL PRO is a pyramid shaped shelter designed for lightweight winter adventures in the harshest climates. Fast and simple to setup the Minipeak XL PRO can be pitched with a center pole and four pegs. If you don’t mind sleeping without an innertent than the Minipeak Can fit up to 3 people. However, if you have a stove inside such as the Winnerwell Fold stove, than the XL PRO makes for an excellent two man or solo winter tent. 

The MInipeak XL PRO is a fantastic tent that happens to be great value as well. Everything from the quality of the stitching, the size of the inner and even the non-sagging outer makes the Minipeak XL unique in it’s class. The XL PRO can easily fit one person and hiking/hunting gear and a tent stove in colder climates. Without the Inner the Minipeak XL PRO makes for a great two man tent with dual entry and exit.

The Minipeak XL PRO is quickly becoming my goto tent in colder climates. The thicker material and built in stove jack means this tent will keep me comfortable in even the harshest of winters. The tent is massive, or atleast massive for a solo tent, and even someone as tall as me at 190cm fits very comfortably. Without the inner, than somebody much taller would fit without too much hassle.

The fact that the Minipeak XL PRO comes with both an inner tent and Stove jack at a price point that most companies are selling their tent pegs at (hyperbolic) is simply incredible. Not to mention it even comes with tent pegs.

•  Would like to see a lighter version of the tent- At 1,5kg for the outer alone, the tent is on the heavy side.
